The exhibition is titled: "Extraordinary meetings, small compendium of oriental art" and includes 20 artists from Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and China. They are 10 artists women and 10 men. They are part of the collection of the Sensus Foundation in Florence.
The interest for these artists began in 2010 and continues today, the toy gender is the latest in December 2017, the Thai artist is Thep Methagod (photo 3). The artists are: Mitsunori Kimura, Tan RuYi, Kawita Vatanajyankur, Imhathai Suwatthanasilp, Noon Passama,
Srisakul Amnuaiporn, Methagod Thep, Yoshitomo Nara, Araki Nobuyoshi, Naomi Futaki, Yuki Ichihashi, Maitree Siriboon, Yanyan Huang, Han Bing, Sethapong Povatong, Tada Hengsapkul, Orawan Arunrak , Akiko Chiba, Yuree Kensaku, Thaweesak Srithongdee. They are almost all very young and considered "emerging", of which 90 works are exhibited in this exhibition.
The Foundation, opened in 2012, keeps and makes accessible to the public its own collection started in the 80s and periodically organizes themed exhibitions with the works of its artists. The headquarters is in Florence in Viale Gramsci 42 and I, Claudio Cosma, are the curator.
"Incontri straordinari, piccolo compendio di arte orientale" e comprende 20 artisti provenienti da Giappone, Malesia, Thailandia e Cina. Sono casualmente 10 artisti donne e 10 uomini. Fanno parte della collezione della Fondazione Sensus di Firenze. L'interesse per questi artisti è iniziata nel 2010 e continua tuttora, il toy gender è l'ultimo arrivato nel dicembre 2017, l'artista tailandese è Thep Methagod (foto 3).
